Your Invitation to Retro Summers and Candy Dreams

Oyedo is the scent version of a sweets shop. It’s orange lollipops, gummy bears, popsicles and Sunkist soda.
If you were expecting a subtle, floral orange blossom scent, this is not going to be it.

All you 80s babies will appreciate this throwback to plastic charm necklaces and jelly shoes. Oyedo feels like the neon signage at a pizzeria, Twizzlers while you roller skate, and chasing the ice cream truck. For those of you who missed that era, just pretend you’re one of the kids from Stranger Things.

If the idea of that sounds fun, please wear Oyedo and accept my wishes that you can really get that feeling I used to, of ripping the paper off an orange Push-Pop or getting Tang powder “smoke” up your nose when you open the jar. I hope you have at least some days where you tell your social media to kindly feck off, and instead you drink orange Kool-Ade in your backyard whilst reading a magazine or putting together a scratch ‘n’ sniff sticker book.

If you appreciate the magic of J-Scent's "Ramune," and its ability to transport you to a childhood summer in Japan, you'll love Oyedo for its American version of the same thing. Ramune is just the red lipstick version and Oyedo is the orange.

Which one are you?
